National Culture Forum is represented by it’s member Uganda Film Association in the on going Audiovisual Forum in Kigali Rwanda.
The two days engagement organized by the Rwanda Film Office together with Rwanda Development Board is intended to explore strategic ways of developing and commercializing content in Africa and East Africa in particular.

The Forum is bringing together experts in the creative content business and acquisition executives from all over the world. It is focusing on location filming on African sceneries, exploration of our local stories, Co-production arrangements and content streaming trends.
Rwanda in it’s tourism focus it is looking at trading it’s country as a filming destination and points out the Ugandan film sector as a strategic neighborhood in the development of the Rwanda film sector as together we could achieve in international co-productions.

Also happening in Kigali is the Masharik African Film Festival with a Uganda night happening today at Century Cinema Kigali and two Uganda films including TEMBELE and KAFARKO are screening.
Over 15 delegates from Uganda are attending this forum under the facilitation of Uganda Communications Commission.
