Black Magic entertainment’s Musician Martha Mukisa has come aboard 2023 with a vibe to fill music lovers. This, she expresses in her first video of the year dubbed Vibe yo. The video is the first release off her Sisaaga EP which was released in December.
Vibe yo is a revelation of Uganda’s party life and preaches the gospel of a partier which is enjoyment. Martha brings this out in the line, “Mundongo eno kale tebanatima”. Directed by Elly V. Mugisa the video evokes a Jamaican energy in the dancers as they truly pull off the street dance before taking it to the club.
The location, lighting and colouring takes you back to the days when village kadankes aka kakubidde wa used to rule. Producer Shaq on da Beat brings you back and forth.
The song was written by Great Ronnie Composition and it is no doubt a party anthem.
