Singer Eddy Yawe has come out to address his fallout with new upcoming and dead drop gorgeous singer Martha Mukisa. The duo did a collaboration together a few weeks ago titled Neteze

The song did well on Martha Mukisa’s YouTube channel, however, YouTube pulled it down allegedly on the orders of Yawe. Apparently, Eddy Yawe claims complete ownership of the song since he penned it. Speaking to this platform, Eddy Yawe explained the entire flex as a misfortune.

“Mukisa’s team requested me for a sample of the songs project, when I sent it to them, they manipulated it abit and even interchanged its wording from Eddy Yawe Featuring Martha Mukisa to Martha Mukisa featuring Eddy Yawe” he explained!

Martha’s management who went ahead to blast the former Kampala MP aspirant after the video was pulled down off their youtube channel, today its only available on Yawe’s channel and he assures that their channel cant upload it anymore! “Yawe is unprofessional. On top of having contributed nothing to the video shoot, he wanted the video to be a swanky and lavish one.” a top lad inside Martha Mukisa’s management said.

He added that Yawe also started staging awkward late-night meetings which made the management detect something fishy. “Apparently, Yawe also used to inappropriately touch Martha during the video shoot” he added! However according to Yawe, all these are falsehoods, he said that this could be a plot by the Sango singer’s management to promote her. And besides, he earns no coin from YouTube having no reason to pull down the song.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

Over time, artists have had scuffles amongst themselves on who exactly owns a project after they feature on a collaboration! Moving forward, its important for artists to agree from the genesis of their mutual project on who owns and contributes what in the song. It usually makes no sense for a great song to loose its momentum because its singers disagree on its ownership!
