Kenyan TikTok queen Azziad Nasenya only EastAfrican nominated in The African social Star Awards

Kenyan social influencer and TikTok Queen Azziad Nasenya is celebrating major wins after a recent nomination appointment to the African social star awards for 2021.


The African social Star Awards is part of the larger People’s Choice Awards which the 47th ceremony will be held on December 7, 2021, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The show will be broadcast live simultaneously on NBC and E!

Back in 2020, the now 20-year-old Kenyan female comedian Elsa Majimbo won the award beating the likes of Sho Madjozi from South Africa and other renowned celebrities.

Azziad took to her official Instagram account and posted the great news to her fans, thanking them and asking for their votes through an online platform.

Guys I am the only Kenyan and the only East African Nominated. Thank You for your support.” Azziad posted on her official Instagram account.


The 21-year-old who has recently been travelling the world in Europe rose to fame after a viral video of the song ‘Utawezana’ by Mejja and Femi One on TikTok.

Since then, she has continuously been shinning and even landing major endorsement deals with major brands in the country such as Tecno, Orimo, Oribi among other ambassadorial deals.

Her fans on social media are happy for her arguing that this is a win for the Kenyan youths and showing that with valid dreams and hard work we can always achieve the best.
