After about a three year hiatus, the famous White Party is back bigger and better according it its host Zari.
The self styled Bosslady will this time round, also host her fellow stars from the Netflix show – “Young, African & Famous”. The party known for its bold and elegant appeal will go down at Motiv, Industrial Area on December 22.
Unlike the past times the party was hosted at Club Guvnor, Zari explained during a press conference at Talent Africa Group offices that she wanted to put the party at a much bigger venue because the revelers are in high moods after the party being away for some years now.
When asked by this reporter whether the party’s return will revive the lost glory of socialite parties in the city Zari was hopeful that she will get this pop, class and glamor back.
Socialite parties went from top to zero when Don Ivan Ssemwanga died in May 2017. Ssemwanga captured the imagination of Ugandans with his lifestyle revolving around big spending – he was indeed the doyen nay patron saint of Kampala’s leisure class & the rightful King of Kampala Night life more so in December.
After his demise, all this top-notch showbiz followed him to the grave – With the return of the white Party this December, the big question that remains is – will all that be Revived? Lets watch the space!
