The highly-anticipated UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert, which faced an unexpected postponement on December 21, 2023, is now set to take the stage on March 3, 2024, at Kololo Airstrip. The rescheduled date follows a closed-door meeting held yesterday between the main organizers, Talent Africa, and Next Media.

While details of the meeting remain undisclosed, information gathered indicates that all tickets purchased for the initially scheduled event will remain valid for the upcoming concert. There will be no additional ticket sales for those who already hold valid tickets.

The reason for the abrupt postponement last year was revealed in a statement released by the organizers. The statement expressed regret and disappointment, citing an unforeseeable event at the Kololo Airstrip, which was beyond their control. This event was later disclosed as the book launch of Uganda’s 1st Deputy Prime Minister, Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga.

The organizers expressed their sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and assured the public that the upcoming event on March 3, 2024, promises to be an unforgettable experience. Fans and ticket-holders can look forward to finally enjoying the much-anticipated performance by UB40 featuring Ali Campbell at the iconic Kololo Airstrip.
