The conveyor belt that is churning out Nigerian artistes on the Ugandan music scene has delivered a big fish. The latest Nigerian announced for a concert in Uganda’s capital is British Nigerian singer, actress and songwriter Tiwa Savage!
The songstress, real name Tiwatope Balogun who was first announced to perform in Kampala this year on 22nd April before the preparations went cold will finally be performing at Lugogo Cricket Oval this month on Friday 22nd July 2022 , according to Talent Africa Group.
With a career spanning over a decade, the songstress who has dropped 3 studio albums “Once Upon a Time, R.E.D Celia & Sugarcane aswell as 2 EP’s “Water” and “Garri” will be performing in Kampala for the second time.
The first time Tiwa performed in Kampala was during the Airtel Inspiring Women concert in March 2015 and while at it, she gave revelers an energetic performance. At the time, she was pregnant with her now six year old son, Jamil Balogun!
