Kampala, Sunday February 11: The ‘Road to Kigali’ is only a couple weeks away as old boys of the Ntare Lions League anticipate the grandest of finales at Ntare School Rebero, Rwanda for an action-packed season end.

But, while the energy is high for March 10th, the semi-finals that were held at the Kampala Quality Complex on Sunday were definitely one to write about too. With Guinness at the centre of the Old Boys all season, it was an experience that perfectly foreshadowed what is yet to come.

Nshera and Omujuma, the two teams who have managed to dominate the top positions for the longest period this season, emerged as the frontrunners on the leaderboard.

With Nshera leading at an impressive 44 points overall and Omujuma closely behind at 41 points, the competition is reaching a fever pitch. The Machandos, currently in third place, are still in contention for the coveted trophy.

Moses Aine, Ex-president of Ntare Lions League, spoke to the media at the event, applauding all teams for having come this far and looking ahead at the season finale.
