Renowned Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyomozi has courageously shared the deep pain and sorrow she has endured since the untimely loss of her brother, Prince Edward Freeman Kim.
Kim tragically passed away last year during the early morning hours, though Juliana has chosen not to disclose the exact cause of his death. In a recent interview with Ruth Kalibbala Bwanika, Juliana revealed the profound grief that has engulfed her since her brother’s passing, recounting the final moments they shared together.
Juliana recounted that on the day her brother died, he was at her residence, accompanying her to the hospital as she wasn’t feeling well. Her brother, along with one of her sisters, drove her to Nakasero Hospital for treatment, marking the last time she saw Kim alive.
She went on to explain that while she was receiving treatment, her brother remained in the car, resting. Tragically, when they checked on him, he was unconscious and passed away before receiving any medical attention.
Juliana expressed disbelief at the sudden loss, likening it to a surreal nightmare from which she hoped to wake up. “The day my brother died, he was actually at my place. He took me to the hospital, it was me that wasn’t doing well. I remember thinking it was a bad dream and I was going to wake up from it,” she disclosed.
It’s worth noting that Juliana Kanyomozi also experienced the heartbreaking loss of her son to an asthmatic attack back in 2014.
