In 2019, Kusasira ventured into politics when she was appointed a presidential advisor on Kampala Affairs.
Since then, Kusasira has been coordinating the young ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM) recruits in the slum quarters.
Based on the most recent reports, Kusasira is looking forward to elevating her political position as she intends to occupy one of the big political offices in Uganda.
Come the 2026 Uganda general elections, Kusasira will be locking horns with other candidates in Buikwe to secure the district women’s MP position.
Kusasira has already released her campaign posters, with the theme “service delivery for all” and will be standing on the NRM party ticket.
