Eddy Kenzo has responded to allegations made by Cameroonian artist Gasha regarding their joint hit song “Chill,” produced in 2015. Gasha accused Kenzo of unfairly claiming royalties from the song, leaving her with nothing.

Kenzo clarified that he does not financially gain from the song beyond its YouTube views, which currently exceed 5 million. He emphasized that Gasha and her management retain full rights over the song and its distribution.

Contrary to Gasha’s claims, Kenzo denied ever requesting money from her to collaborate. He revealed that during the collaboration planning phase, he was in the United States. Gasha and her team offered $1000 to cover his travel expenses, which he accepted.

Kenzo invited Gasha to verify YouTube view counts and corresponding payments, asserting that he benefits solely from the song’s popularity. Additionally, he stated that he has never charged for collaborations.
