Renowned emcee and talent manager Edwin Katamba, popularly known as MC Kats, has taken to social media to express his disappointment with singer Eddy Kenzo.
In a series of videos posted on his X account, MC Kats revealed his frustration with Kenzo for allegedly disregarding him and redirecting him to his manager when approached for a music collaboration with Fille Mutoni, an artist under Kats’ management.
Kats, who is gearing up for Fille’s upcoming concert, deemed Kenzo’s actions disrespectful, especially considering their previous personal dealings. He also highlighted his significant role in Kenzo’s career in the past.
Responding to Kats’ accusations, Eddy Kenzo, also the president of UNMF, questioned the basis of Kats’ outburst. Kenzo clarified that he and the UNMF have been actively supporting Fille during her health struggles, even ensuring her ongoing medical care.
“I have spent an entire year taking care of Fille at the Federation. Even as we speak, she is somewhere in the hospital being taken care of so that she gets well. I don’t know why he (Kats) made such statements,” Kenzo stated during a media interaction on Sunday.
