Love is never a straight road, today you are sweethearts and tomorrow you don’t see eye to eye.
The same applies to ex lovers Daddy Andre and Nina Roz who once acted as hen-pecked lovers and today they are dragons breathing down on each other. The bad blood between the former celebrity singing couple is soo bad that Daddy andre through his lawyers has issued an intention to sue notice to Nina Roz over matters related to bleach of contract.
The Real Matter On Ground
On 8th June 2020, a management contract was penned and reached upon between Daddy Andre and Nina Roz and it was supposed to run for a period of 5 years. In the contract, Nina Roz was signed as an artist under the Brand Andree on the Beat. In a rather fast turn of events, around November 2021, Nina Roz signed another management contract with another team and while at it, she continued to perform music that belonged to Andre on The Beat something that was contrary to what she signed with Andree in the initial contract.
According to Daddy Andre’s advocates, GM Kibirige & Co. Advocates, Nina Roz must pay their client to a tune of One hundred and twenty million shillings for the damages caused. The damages include costs put on production, marketing and promotion of songs like Nagaana, Andele, Enyonta and Billboard Kipande among others.
Nina Roz is expected to pay that amount of money in a space of a week from 24th May 2022, the date the intention to sue notice was issued. In addition, she’s also supposed to stop performing any of the songs that were bound by her initial contract with Andree!
The Genesis of the Matter
The pair’s current storm in the media stems from a car which they allegedly jointly owned! Nina Roz accuses Andree of selling the car, a Toyota Mark X of the UBF series.
In the case she filed at CPS Kampala, Nina Roz reported the matter after going days without seeing the car that she had left to Andre. She disclosed that she went to a car bond in 2020 with Andre and negotiated to buy a Toyota Mark X registration number UBF 156C at shs.21m.
They paid a installment of shs.10m cash with Nina as the buyer and Andree as the witness, according to the agreement signed! According to Nina, she collected the balance and gave it to Andree to clear the car balance an upon reaching zero balance, Andree indicated in the car logbook that he was the owner. On the contrary about the matter, Daddy Andre says after Nina paid the 10m cash at the bond, its him that cleared the remaining 11m a point which explains his move to have his name in the logbook!
To her dismay, Nina says that through a mutual friend, Andree borrowed the car for a quick errand and since then, she hasn’t seen the car again. Upon reporting a stolen car case at Police, a car broker was arrested and he led them to the New car owner and at the time, the logbook blared the names of the new owner!
What needs to be done?
At this point, both artistes seem very bitter at each other! Daddy Andre’s move to issue an intention to sue notice to Nina Roz is comes of as a “Tit-for-Tat” move or revenge. Nina bleached the contract and all has been well with Andre staying mute about the matter, its at a point that Nina Roz took the car matters to Police that Andre is also intending to bring up the contract bleach case! Tit for Tat it is!!
What needs to be done is looking into ways of having the singers solve the matters amicably with a closed door meeting, either police, their advocates or close associates should take on the mantle to make this round table talk happen otherwise, they are both at a point of throwing each other under the bus!
