Thirty years plus is a long time to spend with one person and surely, it must be a rollercoaster of a journey full of Ups and Downs, Gives and Takes amongst many many other things!
For Buganda Kingdom’s premier Charles Peter Mayiga and his wife Margret Mayiga, together they have walked the journey of marriage for thirty three years. Taking to his social platforms, the Katikkiro thanked God for the 33 years in marriage where together with his wife they received Children, Grand Children, Friends and the opportunity to serve as Katikkiro among other things.
The couple got married on 29 April 1989 and this year on the same date they celebrated 33 years of their union. The Katikkiro shared a picture from their wedding day, smartly clad in suit with and and the bride, Margret in a wedding gown. He also shared another picture taken this year, 33 years later and the change is visible, the couple has kept growing more fine as years passed.
We can authoritatively confirm that the bond Charles Peter Mayiga and Margret Mayiga has kept alive over they ears was a great inspiration to their children some of whom have already taken on marriage. Two of their Children, Samantha Nanziri and Gabriella Namata are already married officially.
