Comedy duo Madrat and Chiko have delighted fans with the announcement of the highly anticipated fourth season of their annual comedy show, Nseko Buseko.

After a hiatus caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the event is set to take place on July 7th at the UMA Multipurpose Hall, promising a night filled with laughter and entertainment.

This year, Uganda Waragi and MTN have stepped in as the title sponsors, while Talent Africa takes charge of event production and management, ensuring an unforgettable experience for comedy enthusiasts.

Nseko Buseko, meaning “just for laughs,” has become a prominent fixture in Uganda’s comedy scene, showcasing the immense talent and creativity of local comedians. Madrat and Chiko, thrilled to return after the pandemic-induced break, aim to celebrate the rich comedic culture of Uganda in this year’s edition.

During a press conference held at the Talent Africa Group offices in Kololo, Madrat and Chiko expressed their dedication to delivering an exceptional display of comedy and laughter. The duo utilized the lockdown period to refine their craft, promising a memorable experience for comedy lovers.

Hillary Baguma, the Brand Manager of mainstream spirits, emphasized their enthusiasm, stating, “We went all out to become the biggest comedy supporter because we are the spirit of Uganda, and with that, we believe working with Madrat and Chiko will be the best way we share the Ugandan joy through comedy.”
