Following Parliament’s move to cancel ‘Nyege Nyege’ music festival, an urgent meeting was called by the Prime Minister Hon. Nabbanja to discuss the matter.
In a letter that was copied to the ministers of Tourism, Internal Affairs, ICT and Ethics and Integrity, the prime minister called them to discuss matters relating to hosing of this festival on Wednesday morning.
The results of this meeting reveal that Nyege Nyege has been cleared to take place as earlier planned. Further information reveals that security that also attended the meeting was tasked to ensure there’s order.
