Beenie Gunter Credits Bobi Wine and Crysto Panda for His Release from Abu Dhabi Prison, Blasts Eddy Kenzo for Empty Promises.

Renowned Ugandan singer, Bennie Gunter has come out to thank Bobi Wine and Crysto Panda for their role in securing his release from Abu Dhabi Prison.

The singer was arrested after finding himself amid a scuffle between two Ugandan promoters in the UAE when he travelled to perform in Abu Dhabi earlier in January.

The ‘Tubayo’ singer was then transferred to Abu Dhabi and detained over allegations of violent conduct and vandalizing property.

But according to Beenie Gunter, claims that he was arrested for the wrong reason since he was not involved in any fight as it is alleged, but rather found himself in the middle of an altercation between two Dubai event promoters.

He went on to emphasize that the fact he had been unjustly put behind coolers for almost a month, enduring a difficult and challenging.

He further expressed his disappointment and annoyance with UNMF president, Eddy Kenzo for not coming out to his rescue when he reached out to him for assistance despite Kenzo’s claims of trying to help him, as he acknowledged the loyalty and endless support of Bobi Wine and Crysto Panda who stood by him during his darkest hours providing necessary help to secure his release.

He cautioned Eddy Kenzo to match his words with actions and not to take credit for someone else’s efforts because he never did anything to secure his release as he claimed.
