Renowned rapper Daniel Kigozi alias Navio came out to claim that he is not interested in awards anymore.
The self-proclaimed most decorated hip-hop artist in East Africa made the statements as he bragged how he has achieved much in music adding that he has no time to show off.
He added that since he lost interest in awards, he no longer submits his songs for consideration.
Navio says he has won everything and has nothing left to prove. He left the awards for young and upcoming musicians who have to work a lot to prove themselves and build their fanbase.
“I am no longer interested in awards because there’s nothing to prove. I made it, and I am the most awarded rapper in East Africa,” Navio in an interview with Galaxy TV.
Navio has been actively making music for over twenty years and looks like he is here for some more time.
