Rivalry is seemingly proving to be the new normal amongst Uganda’s diaspora events especially in United States. It is understood that contending factions are targeting a new entity called Uganda America Entertainment.
A reliable source indicated to this website that rival outfits are telling their clients that Ugandan musician who are set to perform, were recently denied visas.
Moving forward, Shamim Tendo Kalanda the spokesperson of Uganda America Entertainment revealed to this website that all the booked artistes have their paper work set and they will be performing at the event in September 2nd and 4th.
“It is true, we’ve been hearing baseless allegations but we would like to inform the general public that the event will happen as planned,” Shamim Tendo explained.
She further revealed that the UAE Gala and Expo 2022 isn’t all about music but there will be a charity fundraiser, that will run from Friday 2nd September 2022 to Sunday 4th September 2022 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in United States.
Tendo noted that the proceeds from the event with go towards the girl child projects for school going girls that have been affected by the global pandemic in Uganda.
A group of Uganda entertainers who include; Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, Mathias Walukagga, Chosen Becky, Kenneth Mugabi and Vinka will be gracing the event.
