Speaking about the new project, Aly Allibhai Talent Africa CEO could not hold his excitement and was quick to reveal to the media that,

The artists on this project have truly outdone themselves, leaving listeners in awe with their bars. We’re thrilled to share this incredible project with the world and will continue to support the creative arts in Uganda.” – Aly Allibhai ,Talent Africa CEO

One of the rappers in the country, Prince Benjamin says that the art and music industry needs collective effort from media, events and the record companies to support and promote it from time to time.

“The Ug Cypher was for the better part one of the pillars on hip hop in Uganda. The art needs pillars; Media, Events, Record companies and Projects of dedicated to the Art. At one time we had Hot 100 fm, Talent Africa, MTN Hip Hop Wards, Bayimba Hip Hop Boot Camp and the Ug Cypher. These were pillars of Hip hop in Ug untill they started to disappear one at a time. It’s therefore not to be taken for granted that Talent Africa, representing the Record companies has shown that their love for Hip hop didn’t die with the death of “Airport Taxi” Rap Duo.”

He added, “The 6-7 years the Ug Cypher has taken on hold had us really thinking Hip hop would never live again especially after everything that has died. But this Ug cypher sells hope to rappers, to fans, to the streets. Its important that Talent Africa does not stop doing this. It means a lot for many of us. Waiting for UG Cypher 2024.”
