As the scramble for concert dates amongst artistes continues to take twist, Songstress Juliana Kanyomozi has taken it a notch higher by joining the league with a concert announcement!
Dubbed Juliana live at Serena, the concert is slated for Friday 19 August 2022 at Victoria Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel in Kampala.
This is going to be Juliana’s first concert after a long hiatus. The songstress last held a like concert of a sort at the same venue on Friday 18th October 2013, two years later in early 2016, she was set for another concert which however didn’t happen. Close sources from her camp revealed that the season coupled with heated 2016 General Elections wasn’t a favorable ground for the show!
Never the less, 9 years later after her 2013 show, she’s back with a banger! Juliana’s concert comes at a time when she doesn’t have a current mega hit song on the airwaves, this is rare for a typical Ugandan artist because the concert strength is defined by a recent mega hit but guess what, Juliana has broken this rule, she’s Juliana Anyway Isn’t she?
Secondly, it should also be noted that on the same date of her concert, music Trio the B2C too have a concert at Freedom City! They announced their concert over a month ago. Will this same date coincidence affect any of them? Will it play in ones favor over the other? Are their audiences the same or they are totally different? Let’s watch the space!
