Pia Pounds is swinging on cloud 20 after her song “Twende Tupaate” has featured on Netflix.
The hit song that took many Ugandans by storm because if it’s party and enjoyment vibe was featured in the currently trending Netflix show Young, Famous & African’ that features Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and ex baby daddy Diamond Platnumz. Pia Pounds shared her excitement on her Facebook account with a video clip of the show and said,
“Tell your Neighbour –Tupaate Ali ku Netflix” which directly translates that tell your neighbour Tupaate is on Netflix
Pia Pounds is currently the only Ugandan musician so far whose song has been used in the show as a soundtrack. The show premiered last week Friday on Netflix and has been a talk of town on different social media platforms with many people giving their opinions about this show.
