After surviving an assassination on Tuesday night, House of Prayer Ministries pastor Aloysius Bugingo has shared on what happened and his current state of health.
According to Police, unidentified assailants who were on a motorcycle opened fire on pastor Bugingo’s vehicle along Namungona at Bawalakata junction.
The shoot -out claimed Richard Muhumuza’s life who was Pastor Bugingo’s bodyguard and also left the city pastor with minor injuries.
It is alleged that the assailants focused their shoot on Muhumuza thinking it was Pastor Bugingo in the co-driver’s seat.
Despite the shocking incident, Pastor Bugingo is optimistic and thankful to God for another chance to life.
“Thank you for the prayers. I am alive. Church elder Richard Muhumuza did not make it but I managed to rush to the hospital for treatment. I ask you to continue with the prayers,” he said
