Dancer Edgar Matte alias Eddie Wizzy has revealed that he is organizing the first dance concert.
“I want to organize a dancers’ concert and would like all Ugandans to support me,” he said during a local television interview.
Wizzy says the event will be characterized with dancers from the beginning to the end and all performances will be done under a production.
He also revealed that he is currently in talks with different dancers to see if they can feature on the concert. He is also in talks with the management of Cubana bar and lounge in Munyonyo where he wants the event to happen.
“Some of the performances will be choreographed stories of prominent people like Bobi Wine,” he added.
Eddie Wizzy first hinted on organizing a dance concert in 2015 but it never happened.
His dance moves has been featured by singer Ykee Benda on the song menya egumba.
The official dates for the concert haven’t been set.
