TikToker Omukunja Atasera has exposed singer Halima Namakula and Hanson Baliruno of falsing taking his money when they allured him to save with Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) SACCO.
Speaking to the press, Omukunja Atasera explained that Ms. Namakula and Baliruno asked him to join and save momey with the UMA Sacco to which he heed to with the promise that money would always be shared at the end of the year.
He claims that ever since he started saving money with the Sacco in 2022, he has never been given his share to date adding that he saved about Shs4.5m. He adds there are no signs of even sharing the money that artists were saving which furthermore breaks his heart.
Apparently, he wants his money back and has taken to mainstream media to demand for his money from Ms. Namakula and also appeared to have consificated her car – a Toyota Harrier – Black in color.
“I want my money back from Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) , Hanson Baliruno and Halima Namakula told me to save money. That it will be shared at the end of the year. I have saved about 4.5 million and I need my money back at the moment,” Omukunja Atasera.
At the moment Hanson and Halima both moved to the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF). However, they told him that they don’t know where the money is.
He should, therefore, also join the federation or he can keep asking for money from the association as there are people still there.
