Fast-evolving singer D-Star who hails from Kawempe is being accused of theft by a group of other rising artists.
Based on the accusations raised against him, it said that before he released the “Hoozambe” song, D-Star stole a mobile phone from one of the studios where he used to record his music.
The phone he stole had demos of different songs including “Hoozambe” and when he landed on the song, he rushed to record a challenge with Shifura and later shared it on TikTok thus going viral.
The click is now hunting him to return the mobile phone that they claim he stole from the studio. D-Star is apparently out of the country as he traveled to Nairobi, Kenya for a mini-tour since his hit single received lots of appreciation and attraction in the neighboring nation.
Veteran Kenyan star Nameless also hopped on the challenge and plans to release a remix of the song anytime soon. Meanwhile D-Star has yet to respond to allegations but hopefully he will do so when he returns to +256
