The chief magistrate at Kira Court in Kampala, Ms Roseline Nsenge has sentenced Kafta Queen, the young woman who appeared in a video of girls beating their friend has been sentenced to three years in jail after pleading guilty to a charge of aggravated torture.
The 18 years’ old who is a Tanzanian Nationality and a student at Trinity College Nabweru was punished to deter other children from getting involved in violent acts.
Ms. Roseline said the culprit has been remorseful of the pain she and her friends inflicted on the victim. She has been remanded to Luzira prison.
On January 8, at Nsasa in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District, Kaftah and her friends recorded themselves beating a Nikole 14 years, accusing her of trying to seduce her boyfriend Derrick Lwanga.
