Veteran musician Moses Matovu last night became bitter with Kanungu West legislator Hon. Joseph Ssewungu at club Obligato. Afrigo band was relaunching their night at club Obligato.
In the video making rounds on social media, Moses is blasting Ssewungu over politicizing their music.
“Did you teach me how to blow the saxophone? Are you the one who tells me to sing? I do things my way yet you politicize everything,” Matovu says in the video.
He also dares to be gunned down than be intimidated.
While many saw the forever calm artist enraged, a close source has revealed to spiners that Matovu had to mark his territory because the likes of Hon. Ssewungu had gotten comfortable with campaigning during music events.
“This was not the first time Ssewungu inconvenienced Moses Matovu. During their show in Canada, Ssewungu and other members of opposition stormed the stage and sung Bobi Wine’s tuli yambala engule with his Saxophone yet the event had been sponsored by NRM Chapter,” he said
