Dubbed Soul Fest, the Inter-denominational event will happen on 5th June at the Uganda Museum. The Fest is looking at a corporation that will relate to the public with a great aspiration of good deeds while appreciating efforts and recognizing those that are trying to make a difference in their communities, place of work, and neighborhoods.

“We want to connect and bridge the gap between the ristians in a concert that will see all people connect regardless of their religions as the music connects them,” says Boniface Edidu, the Soul Fest creator.

The fest set to take place twice a year will be an all day event set to see attendees explore what a relationship with Jesus Christ is like. In its first edition, the fest will feature a Iive gospel music band, Gospel DJs and a couple of gospel artists led by Ruyonga, DJ Victor, Holy Keane, DJ Nimso amongst many others.

Edidu said that the event is a family-oriented one and so they encourage family heads to bring the children along. “We have demarcated a child play area with bouncing castles and toys” Edidu said. For those who wish to drink, the the fest management will only be accepting soft drinks just to keep the crowds sober until the end. Early bird tickets to the event are on sale at Ugshs. 20,000 while tickets at the gate will cost Ugshs. 30,000.
