After provocation from different social media groups and bloggers, former performing artist Sarah Namukwaya aka G- Snake has opened up on why she left the music industry.
Some bloggers had made it a point to ask for her whereabouts. The Kampala anyuma kiro singer has also tried to give direct responses on the posts, until she felt that her official posts would make more sense. Through her social media, G-Snake revealed that she had become a mother and her family is priority.
“I had to get a break from all that to nurture my family. Otherwise, in a way, I would lose it. Gave birth to daughters…they need mom around,” she revealed
Adding, “Sometimes we look for money, but you eventually end up losing more than you bargained for. I decided to have a break from music…to nurture my girls,” She also asked them to quit worrying about her financial status because a musician must not only survive on music. “Oh by the way, I have other ventures I milk my money from…..” She said
G-Snake was popular for dancing and making appearances with a snake she identified as Britney. She had last made appearance in news in 2015 after she was allegedly beaten at a bar in Kajjansi.
