Events promoter Balaam Barugahara has come out to say Team No Sleep’s singer Rahmah Pinky is set to become the next big thing in Ugandan music.
“Right now the hottest property in Ugandan music is TNS’ Rahmah Pinky. With her under the management of Jeff Kiwa, she will become Uganda’s Rihanna in one or two years. Just watch the space,” Balaam Barugahara said.
Rahmah has slowly but steadily been rising to the top and her fan base has surely grown over the past few months. She was brought in last year to fill the void left by Sheebah Karungi after queen karma allegedly called it quits with the label. Meanwhile, Jeff’s management skills are undoubted with him having previously managed the likes of Dr Jose Chameleon.
He then orchestrated the rise and dominance of Radio and Weasel, then Sheebah under TNS. All these however have always left his camp citing different misunderstandings. His management acumen however speaks volumes for itself.
